Investigated the ongoing cost-cutting of Missouri’s state budget for the upcoming and current fiscal year; analyzed changes to drug testing policies for Missouri’s welfare recipients while covering Missouri’s House of Representatives. Shot and edited spot news video of floor debates and interviews with Missouri’s legislators; prepared quick, succinct blog updates for breaking news events, including on-the-floor controversy at the end of the legislative session.
